BHS SCOTLAND COMPETITION SERIES 2007
Each year BHS Scotland runs a number of national competitions catering for a wide variety of riders and interests.
This year we are delighted to have the Knockhill Horse Power / BHS Scotland Cross Country series back bigger and better, leading to the national final at Gleneagles on Sunday 12 October.
We also have the two working hunter competitions: Stewarts Building Servies / BHS Scotland Working Hunter series and the Equissage / BHS Scotland Riding Club Working Hunter series both with their finals at the Blair Castle International Horse Trials and Country Fair on Thursday 21 August.
In 2008 we also have the Total Saddle Solutions Style Jumping Series for Riding Club members. The final is at the Blair Castle International Horse Trials and Country Fair on Sunday 24 August.
BHS Trec
The British Horse Society is the national governing body for the sport of TREC in the UK, regulating competitions, supporting organisers, training judges and officials, and organising Championship events for riders at all levels. BHS TREC appeals to all sorts of riders, with all sorts of horses. If you enjoy riding in attractive countryside, with a reasonable amount of challenge and a competitive element, you'll enjoy BHS TREC. It has many attractions and advantages over other forms of equestrian competitive sport. Find out more about this fun sport and how you can get involved:

The BHS TREC Scottish Championships will be held on 14th and 15th June 2008 at Hyndshawland Farm Stables, Near Biggar (only 30 mins from both Edinburgh and Glasgow!).
We urgently need judging help for both days, please please consider helping out. Without judges the event can not go ahead. It is a great chance to come and see what TREC is all about.
You will get a full briefing and lunch will be provided. You will also get a free ticket to the Saturday night evening event and buffet.
Please help - we really depend on our kind volunteers to make these events a success.
Contact Carolyn on 07917 672345 if you can help or if you have any questions..
Thanks in anticipation!
We look forward to seeing you at one of the competitions. |
