 |
Jessica Kurten brought her international skill and forthright teaching manner to Scotland and enthralled both the audience and the 40 lucky riders who attended her 2-day teach-in.
At a snowy Gleneagles in sub-zero temperatures, the 400 strong audience who braved severe road conditions were glued to their seats as Jessica put eight of Scotland’s promising young riders through their paces.
Her theme was very much on winning and she emphasised that accuracy and correctness in flatwork is the key to success. Known for being frank she said: “Call it dressage, call it flatwork, whatever you call it you will not win consistently until you can do it.”
Jessica was very complimentary about the commitment of all the Scottish riders she taught, saying: “They are so keen to learn and try my suggestions and we are seeing some real improvements.” |
